Niacinamide:

Niacinamide and Niacin are two different forms of vitamin B-3. Niacinamide does not cause a niacin flush. Niacinamide (B-3) is an essential member of the B-vitamin family.

I wanted to add Niacinamide to the list of supplements for acne. There is a considerable body of research (search pubmed.org) that shows both oral and topical niacinamide help reduce acne breakouts, decrease inflammation and help reduce skin sensitivity. It also has anti-aging and hydrating effects on the skin. Oral supplements are available at most health food stores and websites. Topical niacinamide is found in some moisturizers and in a few niacinamide based skin gels and creams.
